Is there still a war to win?
It would appear that PARC still see a commercial benefit in Cairntows Park and would like to see it retained in the Urban Design Framework as a sight for future development.
We have an opportunity to get this removed - the following is an email allowing people to come along to a review meeting.
Please sign up and attend - even just to let them know how you feel.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and tell them you will be attending, or that you cannot attend but would like them to note that you want Cairntows Park removed as a site for potential development from the CUDF.

CRAIGMILLAR URBAN DESIGN FRAMEWORK (CUDF) REVIEW.
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FINAL CONSULTATION EVENT AT THE WHITEHOUSE.
I write to invite you to the final event in the Craigmillar Urban Design Framework Review. The final consultation event will be held at the Whitehouse between 4pm and 7pm on Thursday 28 March 2013.
The event will provide an opportunity to review the outputs of the previous workshops before preparation of the draft review document begins. The intention is to present findings and comments captured at the workshops on the hour throughout the afternoon. A draft document will be considered by the Craigmillar & Portobello Neighbourhood Partnership in May and a final document at the Planning Committee in August.
Further information on the review process can be found on the Council's web site at http://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/craigmillarreview
Your input to this exercise would be welcomed. If you or a nominee would like to participate in the workshop or learn more about the event and its format please contact me on 0131 529 3904 or at email@example.com prior to the event and to confirm your attendance.
